Bridgey Speaks

I have a busy summer coming up, and I’m quite looking forward to it. In fact it’s already started, as May has been non-stop. This weekend Tara comes to visit and stay in her old room. I’m looking forward to relaxing and hanging out and enjoying the beautiful weather. I don’t know what Tara might want to do yet, but most of my ideas so far involve walking and eating, such as, walking to Brr-Kee’s or to the Oakmont Tavern to enjoy their new rooftop seating. No matter what we do, it will be great to catch up.

Dave and I are also headed to Boston this June, and I can’t wait. I will have some time on my own to explore, so please send along any suggestions for must-see or must-do activities in Boston.

This is Lawrence Fishburne. He was in The Matrix and Boyz in the Hood. He was also on Pee-wee’s Playhouse.

This is Samuel L. Jackson. He was in Pulp Fiction, Shaft* (2000), and Snakes on a Plane. (Sure, this is a bizarre sampling to choose if you look at his list of movie credits, but I have my reasons.)

This is Morgan Freeman. He was in Driving Miss Daisy, The Shawshank Redemption, and Bruce Almighty. (Again, reasons.)

*Related side note: The soundtrack for the original Shaft was composed and performed by Isaac Hayes, who is performing in Pittsburgh on July 26th and was the voice of “Chef” on South Park.

Leela and I will be requiring one of these. Trust me, there is plenty of room on her bed to accommodate this request.
