I was getting photos from Laura’s wedding from her computer this weekend for scrapbooking, and I found this:

Dave and I had a nice weekend. We saw Tony Rock (yes, Chris’ brother) on Friday night for FREE and enjoyed some good Rock Bottom Food. Saturday night we had a geo event at a somewhat bizarre Chinese restaurant in Monroeville, which then ended up at John Harvard’s. Both were quite fun, and it was wonderful to laugh so much this weekend.
Both weekend days, however, were spent at the mercy of our yard. We worked hard and feel great about the outcome, but we are both super sore. My hands hurt from the shovel, trowel, clippers, you name it really. Ben and Gretchen were of tremendous help to us and are hopefully also enjoying the fruits of their labor, as they took all of the extra plants that were removed from the front flowerbed.
Things are really coming along back there–we are even going to have a lawn again!–and since we’ve started things off early, by June we should be following Gretchen’s plan of sitting back, sipping Margaritas, and enjoying everything in bloom.
