Mojey might be smarter than I thought. Last night, Dave was playing around on the guitar. We turned off the t.v., and he started to play. As soon as the t.v. went *click* Mojo jumped up and scampered toward the stairs. He thought it was bed time! Aww…he’s smarter than I thought!
Oh wait, then Dave managed to get him to jump 3 feet straight up into the air by kicking the guitar case. So, he’s only slightly smarter than I thought….
It appears that I am hooked on Sex and the City. A couple of years ago I went through a similar obsession with Buffy the Vampire Slayer. The nice thing about this time around though, is that the show comes on for one hour (two episodes) twice a week. However, both nights is the same shows–so it’s just one night a week, instead of every week night at dinner!
Anyway, now one night a week, while Dave is at band practice, I have time to just do whatever I want and then top it all off with two fun episodes of Sex and the City.
Any other fans? I feel I must discuss. Why do I always discover these things after they are off the air?
Promptly after Maia received her new collar (a fancy rhinestone number), she managed to get out of it. And she’s hidden it somewhere. I checked under the bed–the most likely spot–and nothing. (Well actually there was something under there, but it wasn’t a collar. I don’t know what it was, and quite frankly, I was frightened. I promptly let the bed skirt fall back to the floor.)
Maia is enjoying her new freedom. She walks around with an extra sense of arrogance because she knows we can no longer hear her coming, that we can no longer know when she’s getting into mischief. Only the telltale guilty look on her face gives her away when she comes sauntering, silently from her recent adventure. It’s making me crazy. That cat had a bell around her neck for good reason!
